ONE YEAR OF TRAVEL AND GETTING READY TO PIVOT IN LIFE

I don't remember where I read this quote. But it's been at the back of my mind for a while. Reading Emily Williams's book, I Heart my Life, it made total sense.
With the law of polarity, one thing can't exist without the other. Hot can't exist without cold. Strength can't exist without weakness. If you can't do something, your potential to do it exists at the same time. Even if you don't have what you desire this moment, it can be just around the corner.
So for the past couple of months, I've had a new idea in the works. Part of me is terrified of failure. The other part is so excited, I can't wait to get it off the ground.
If you been reading the blog for a while, you'll remember this time last year in Asia I was looking to launch a business. But the timing just didn't feel right.
Originally, I had hoped to work online and travel, however having one foot in both pods just didn't work for me. And I craved travel.
Now fully immersed in business, my detour has given me so much inspiration and I'm excited by all the wonderful places it might take me and the people I'll meet. I'm even considering taking it on the road as I build a steady stream of income.
For the past couple of months, I've been working hard towards this goal. AND IT'S HERE!
I have no idea where this new adventure will lead me and getting it off the ground will be the hardest part. But I'm excited and energized and can't wait for all the wild things that will be in store for me.

So what's the plan?
After exploring different avenues and doing online courses with the Bucketlist Bombshells, Ashlyn Writes and Paige Brunton, website design is where I can put my skills and talent to work the best. I love combining my creative and logical sides and finding creative solutions for businesses feels like a great fit for me. I even built my Paris Tag Rugby team their website!
My goal is to serve creatives and entrepreneurs with a knockout website that serves their business goals and transforms their website into their #1 conversion machine. I decided to go for primarily building on Squarespace for its simplicity and ease in creating beautiful designs.
I'm thinking about moving my blog over to it. Not yet though. As I'm focused on spending more of my time building the business. But I'm fully aware that this travel blog needs a makeover and much-needed redesign!
Does that mean I'll stop blogging? Nope! I still plan to travel and I love that I have a place to share my adventures. Plus my blog has grown to a not so tiny and mighty following in readership and continues to grow. Which is HUGE for me!
I will keep you up to date with my progression and how things go. I'm even thinking about doing income reports so if that's something you'd be interested in, let me know.
I can't believe I'm doing this... And I'm pretty darn proud of it!
